About Me

It all began when I helped my sister-in-law, Alice design the flowers for her wedding back in 2018. I loved everything about the whole creative process and so, following a whirl of courses and learning from some amazing florists I was thrilled to launch Cecilia's Flowers - a small, independent business, passionate about bringing beautiful flowers to special events, using sustainable practises (no floral foam)  and locally grown flowers whenever possible.

I love meeting clients, hearing all about their plans and dreams for their special day and then designing their flowers accordingly.  I usually find this is quite an organic process and over the weeks and months that follow it is a joy to build a relationship with a couple or a family during such a significant chapter of their lives.

My preference is to use seasonal, British grown flowers whenever possible - working with some incredible local flowers farmers who simply grow the most beautiful flowers.  ​
